Glorious Green

Another gown transformation for the Encephalitic bubs.  A white wedding gown with emerald green satin bias as green is the colour for encephalitis. 6 gowns & 7 cocoons.  Some of these will be sent to the USA for their chapter.

Angels in pink.

Managed to create 10 cocoons & 6 gowns from a lovely donated wedding gown which was very delicate & had lace overlay. Many little Angel bubs will benefit from all these..

 This yellow one has little handbags worked into the smocking.. The purple are colourful butterflies.

Another dress with a pretty strawberry inserted smocked panel. So pretty in the darker green.  Another 4 to do... will post pics as I progress..

Adorable Miss Grace...

Some weeks ago I posted the pics of three little sets in pink, lavender & white... here is the new Miss Grace wearing the lavender set... isn't she adorable... looks like one of my reborn dolls.

Pretty smocked dresses

Have been making 7 little dresses,
here are the first 2! Such pretty colours with
matching embroidered sleeves & collars.

"Angel" Cocoons..

A dozen "Angel" cocoons for the teeny bubs.. All made of donated wedding gowns with lining & pretty ribbon ties.

Angel Gowns....

 Lots of sewing here this week.  Designed a new gown for these darling little "Angel" babies.  So pretty with the machine embroideries on the front. Boys & girls designs...Matching satin piping to finish them off...

Perfect in Purple. !

Having such fun smocking with pearls again.  This lovely lavender set of bloomers, bonnet & dress are so pretty. Can't wait till I see the real bub wearing them.

Machine embroidery plus a pink smocked set...

 Been playing with some new designs for my embroidery machine... cats, dogs & a cute purple poodle... they stitched out beautifully...

A perfect little pink set for a real newborn baby, "Grace"... can't wait to see a pic of her wearing the outfit...

Machine Embroidery

 Learning new skills with machine embroidery & loving the new challenges this brings. The little yellow "hold all" will be perfect in the caravan for my glasses at night, there is a little buttonhole at the top to put on a small hook that is already in place.  




The red note-book cover is an amazing pattern, I was so excited to get it altogether with the ladies help after many hoop adjustments.  Holds a small A5 scribble pad & three biros in the front.  All quilted with stipple stitching & satin stitch.. Just perfect.. 🙌
